Do you want to prevent really bad things from happening to your computer? One of the easiest things you can do to prevent "really bad things" such as malicious program infections or security breaches is to make sure that any vulnerable programs are patched (fixed). Programs like Flash, Java, Firefox and the Adobe line of products are a few of the common vulnerable programs. The bad guys (hackers) can actually gain access to your computer and steal your files and information. Things like bank information, personal information to aid them in stealing your identity and even your personal photos.
As a computer Technician I have found the most common reasons people do not update are:
1. "I didn't know it mattered!"
2. "It takes too long and I'm busy!"
3. "I can't figure out how to do it!"
Well my program will do all that for you.
AV-test.org reports that 5.5 million new malicious programs are being produced every month (http://www.av-test.org/en/statistics/malware/). We live in a digital age where most of what we do is online. Whether it be shopping, banking or socializing. We are being tracked by other websites via cookies and web history or by root kits looking to steal our information.
My maintenance and patching application will find common programs that require security patches or updates and perform the necessary actions in the background without you having to do anything. It will delete your temporary internet files plus other temp files which malware programs hide in. It will even perform critical and security updates for windows, something that is very important.
This program performs about 40% of the routine tasks I perform on client computers.
Everything runs in the background and does not bother you while you work. However, I do suggest that you let it reboot when it is finished.
By entering your email in the configuration, you can recieve email logs of the completed tasks which includes information on your hard drive, how much space you have left, how much memory you have etc
I have included a video that shows how to set up the program to make it as easy as one, two, three. If you have a solid state drive make your purchase accordingly. The standard version includes a de-fragmentation program which will lessen the life of a solid state drive.
